As we continue to develop and streamline the manufacture of our range of products following our purchase some time ago of the CML Electronics range, we have come to the difficult decision that from 27th April 2020, the TXC-1 Turntable Indexer and Display Board will be discontinued and no longer be available as part of the Sig-naTrak range.

We will continue to provide support to existing customers of the TXC-1 as part of our standard warranty and support process.

The TXC1 is known to work and can be reliably used with the following turntable types:

The Hornby turntable uses the "Geneva disc" indexing mechanism. This is a motor driven disc that turns one revolution per turntable exit.

The Atlas "N" scale turntable mechanism is operated by a "Geneva disc" that turns once per track exit. The TXC1 needs to sense the position of this disc to index the turntable. We provide a magnet and an electronic Hall effect sensor to detect the disc position, so the turntable can stop at the required track exit.

The TXC1 is incompatible with the PECO turntable as it does not have an indexing system. Because of this, the TXC1 is unable to tell how many degrees it needs to turn to the next track output.
